NO<sub>2<\/sub>&nbsp;is water-soluble and since by higher temperatures combustion gases do exceed the dew point, the following factors favouring an accurate NO<sub>x<\/sub>&nbsp;measurement -besides the measurement principle itself- are to be considered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gas transport (as quick and residue-free as possible)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooling and drying of the gas to eliminate humidity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calibration of the measuring sensors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the measurement technique point of view, a NO<sub>x<\/sub>&nbsp;measurement (value calculated out of a NO and NO<sub>2<\/sub> measurement) is to clearly differentiate from an NO<sub>x<\/sub>&nbsp;calculation (calculation of NO<sub>2<\/sub>&nbsp;value via approximation formula out of the NO measurement result).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-5618","glossar","type-glossar","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ecom.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/glossar\/5618","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ecom.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/glossar"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ecom.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/glossar"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ecom.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5618"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
