Tightness Check (Gas Fittings)

The tightness of gas fittings can be satisfactorily determined with a test pressure of ± 100 bis 150 mbar over a time period of five minutes. Depending on the volume and whether a pressure drift (e.g. minus 1 mbar) is detected during that time, a reliable statement can be made whether the gas fittings are tight or not. In case of temperature fall, the pressure automatically decreases - it is therefore important to look for constant ambient temperature conditions. The ecom-DP Profi Set is designed for the tightness check of gas fittings at gas burners/gas heatings.
