The Technical Rules for Liquid Gas (TRF) do require recurring checks at liquid gas plants in the following intervals:

Pipeworks with maximal allowed pressure (PS) > 0.5 bar: a stability check every 10 years
Pipeworks with maximal allowed pressure (PS) > 0,. bar & DN > 25: a tightness check every 2 years
Pipeworks with maximal allowed pressure (PS) ≤ 0,5 bar: a tightness check avery 10 years
