Flue gas measurement

Flue gas measurement generally refers to the gases carbon monoxide (CO) and oxygen (O2)
Other gases can also be measured with their concentrations – such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NO + NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), methane (CH4), propane (C3H8), total hydrocarbons (CxHy), hydrogen (H2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen chloride (HCl).
The measurement ranges and accuracies depend on the properties of the respective gas, the specifications of the flue gas analyser and the sensors used.
Flue gas measurement is performed by taking samples from an exhaust gas stream. The warm flue gas is fed into the flue gas analyser via a temperature-resistant probe, a probe tubing and gas conditioning.
